Grow Bags

CoirRoots offers an easy-to-use, sustainable soil substitute. Crafted from a unique blend of coconut peat and chips to maximize yield for its intended crop. Compressed into slab, it provides optimal aeration and moisture retention for plants to grow at their best. The product is packaged in a durable, UV-resistant polythene bag, ensuring long-lasting performance in a variety of growing environments. Ideal for hydroponic and other horticultural applications

Grow Bag Types
CoirRoots offers its customers four types of growbags:

  • GB 1 - 100 % Coco Peat
  • GB 2 - 70-80 % Coco Peat and 20-30 % crushed husk*
  • GB 3 - 60-70 % Coco Peat and 30-40 % crushed husk*
  • GB 4 - 100 % crushed husk*

Husk chip sizes will vary between 7 – 18mm

We are able to customize and develop Growbags based on customer requirements

Coco coir stands out as an excellent substrate for hydroponic farming due to its numerous benefits. Its fibrous texture provides excellent aeration and moisture retention, creating an ideal environment for root growth.

This makes it particularly suitable for crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and strawberries, which thrive in well-drained yet consistently moist conditions. Additionally, coco coir is a renewable and environmentally friendly alternative to peat moss, reducing the strain on natural peat bogs.

Its pH-neutral nature allows for easy nutrient uptake by plants, promoting healthy growth without the risk of nutrient imbalances. Furthermore, coco coir is lightweight and easy to handle, making it convenient for both small-scale and commercial hydroponic operations.
